EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Ideal Steel Erectors, LLC is a new, but very experienced steel erection company, located in Sheridan, IN. Our reputation will precede itself due to our experience, training, and ability to meet deadlines early, or on schedule safely and professionally in the steel erection industry.
We will start and complete each project in a safe, and timely manner, having a clear, articulated mission and vision to develop a strategic plan. We will use this plan as a guide throughout our duration on each project to provide our personnel with a clear picture of tasks, responsibilities, and objectives, for project success. Our strategic plan will outline day-to-day decisions, evaluate progress with the use of drone pictures, and monitor any needed changes moving forward. It will also help develop our goals and target our focus in the areas needed. Our company will make a disciplined effort to produce decisions and actions to shape and guide us for company success.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Our Office Manager, Donna Harris has 26 years’ experience in the steel erection industry. She will manage our accounts receivable billing, change orders, waivers, collections and taxes. She will oversee all company functions and assist in project management as well as other duties.
Our Accounting/Payroll Manager, Cindy Sum has 26 years’ experience. She will be managing our company payroll, accounts payable as well as other accounting functions and assisting with estimating.
Our Owner, Valerie Bellon, has over 29 years in the construction industry and over four years’ experience in steel erection estimating and project management. She will be estimating jobs, executing contracts, scheduling fuel and drones, processing take offs, monitoring job progress, assisting in the field, and project management as well as overseeing all company functions.
Our Estimator, Delbert Goodman, graduated from college with a degree in Construction Management and Construction Technology. He has worked in the steel industry for approximately 3 years estimating projects ranging in different sizes and complexity. He will be estimating jobs and assisting in project management. He will also assist in scheduling fuel and drones.
Our field Superintendent, Rosa DeLuna is bilingual, and she has 23 years’ experience working as a Field Superintendent in the steel erection industry. She will oversee the field employees, submit their weekly payroll, change orders requests, schedule, and return all equipment, order all field supplies when needed and attend weekly preconstruction meetings, monitor job safety, as well as other duties.
The other employees consist of an excellent field foreman and operators with twenty plus years’ experience. Welders, and laborers with 14 years’ experience. We are honored to say that we have an excellent team in this industry.
SERVICES
We provide labor only, and equipment necessary to erect structural steel columns, girders, joists, beams, bridging, bracing, decking and perimeter angle as required by erection drawings, that can be done during a single mobilization. Our work will be performed in strict accordance with CFR 1926.750 (OSHA Subpart R), AISC standards for steel erection and AWS D1.1/D1.3 standards for welding. We are committed to expert workmanship and meeting our customers’ needs on time, or ahead of time and within budget.
We bid and work with General Contractors and Steel Fabricators. We specialize in single story warehouse buildings from 200,000 square feet and up. We do not bid on government or retail projects unless it is a distribution facility. We do not do prevailing wage or refrigerated projects. We do not do any miscellaneous steel, canopies, or separate out buildings on projects, unless discussed and agreed upon during the negotiation stage.
We prefer to shoot the deck rather than welding. Time is money and shooting the deck is faster and cleaner.
We have completed many types of projects ranging in size and complexity. We have the experience and capability to handle large and small jobs.
We can unload up to 25 trucks of steel per day. We prefer all steel to be delivered during the first week that the project starts.
All jobs will include a one-year warranty on workmanship.
SAFETY
Ideal Steel Erectors, LLC’s most important asset is our employees. We will put the safety of each employee as our main priority. We have a master safety plan, which outlines exposures to be aware of, methods to prevent injuries and other pertinent safety information pertaining to our industry.
We will provide a site-specific plan for each project. We will conduct weekly Tool-Box Safety Meetings and provide each field employee with personal protective equipment (PPE).
We will work hard to provide every employee with the knowledge and resources necessary to work towards a company goal of zero accidents. Our employees have all received OSHA 30-hour training, First-Aid, CPR and AED training. They have all received MEWP training also.
